Educated at Universities of Edinburgh and St Andrews reading Geology between 1971 to 78. Between 1978 and 2010, employed by Robertson Research International, firstly as a Geoscientist (to ’86), then as a Director (to ’91) and subsequently as Managing Director. Led an MBO of the business in 1996 and arranged a highly successful exit in 2001. Retired from the business in 2011. Since 2013 has been a director of Interica.
CEOPrior to completion of a management buy-out (MBO) of Interica from the Reservoir Group where Simon held a managing director role of the RG Data division. Simon had a 25 years career at Fugro and Robertson. Simon holds a Masters in Organic Geoschemistry from Newcastle University.
Chief Strategy OfficerKay Sangha is an experienced CFO and a non-executive director who has held executive positions at several multinational public companies, with over 35 year career spanning Europe and Asia. Before Joining Interica , Kay recently completed the sale of digital transformation specialist IPL Information Processing Ltd to Civica.
Brian Phillips was a qualified chartered accountant with KPMG before entering Private Equity with 3i in 1987. He subsequently worked with Gartmore, Bridgepoint, Legal & General Ventures and Greenhill for whom he set up their UK operations and was managing Director. Brian is the Non-Executive Chairman of Interica Group , Bestport Capital and Non-Executive Director of the Imbiba Partnership.
Non ExecutiveBill Crossan has 25 years’ experience investing in growing mid-market companies, both from an equity perspective with 3i and Close Brothers and from a senior lenders position with the Bank of Scotland. He is a qualified engineer and worked in industry for several years, prior to becoming an investor.
